Waterford Regional Youth Services and the Department of Social, Community and Family Affairs wanted a site that would provide easy access to the hundreds of voluntary and statutory service groups in Waterford city Ireland.

Ambit Ireland used an SQL database to store details of these community groups and php scripting to access online records. A bit of Flash for sizzle, plenty of links to related Irish and UK sites and the site was ready for Minister Dermot Ahern to launch at a major conference.
